EON pre.

A very short preview of a dark sci-fi series I'm working on called EON.

Eons into the future, after Terra is long destroyed and forgotten,
A young child cries over the bodies of her parents lying under the debris of a once gleaming tower, in a now burning metropolis.
Everything, everywhere, instantly grew dark, as if engulfed by something.
The child looked up, only to see the darkest of silhouettes towering over her, blotting out the sun like a solar eclipse. Its one eye of distorted light beaming down on her.
She was paralyzed by a terror she could not escape, yet she managed to mouth one word,
"Jasin."
Then her world slowly faded away as a cold darkness enveloped her.

vivid scene. like an episode on the twilight zone, the classic ones. i really enjoyed this. can't wait to read more of it.

For the reader's sake, who most likely desperately want to read more, it could be longer. But even through it's shortness, I felt interested, mystified, and entertained once again.
