Something I wrote a long time ago

Day by day I watch you cripple,

By the hand of the man who thought you so simple,

Day after day you sit and cry,

Awaiting the day that you might die.

Week by week you try to live, but don't bother,

Betrayed by the man you once called father.

Week after week you sit and think,

Awaiting the day that you might sink back Into the darkness that holds deep in your heart.

Wishing, waiting you could go back to the start.

I like this. It's different. You can almost picture it, great imagery. Rather sad. Flows very well though it is short. That's fine though. Creative, this poem is that certainly. Great write. Great poem. I think you should keep writing. Nice job. :D
