Just Like Rain

I lay here crying, 

letting out my pain.

Now my tears are falling,

just like rain.

 

My life's a mess,

a horror story.

Though I must confess,

you won't feel sorry.

 

I was the cause,

for all this pain.

It gave me pause,

with nothing to gain.

 

I lost it all,

before it even started.

I thought I'd grow tall,

but now I'm broken-hearted.

 

I lay here crying,

This is just amazing. Extremely relatable to anyone who has ever been hurt over their own actions(so probably everyone). It reminds me of someone I lost because I decided to be stupid. You captured the thoughts of someone who has lost something dear to them because of thereself. Great job :)
