Sleep

Always tired, 

it's dragging me down. 

Never fully awake, 

I'm about to drown.

It's hard to remember, 

it's constant blur. 

Feels like slow motion, 

but I can't be sure. 

I just need a break,

 a helping hand. 

A little bit of sleep, 

would be so grand.

Very excellent portrayal of how depression can feel. I love the way this message is short & tight, no fanfare, but just enuf of the details to make it completely relatable. Sometimes poetic devices can distract, but your poem just goes straight in for the vivid view & no adornments. Love that. Works perfectly for this message.
