Change

Strange, but there you go...

Here they come, 

the times of change.

I hear the hum,

oh, what a wide range.

 

Frowns turn to smiles,

happiness is prominent.

It seems to go for miles,

filling me with sweet content.

 

I feel stronger, 

I carry myself high.

Afraid no longer,

I won't just stand by.

 

With life whizzing by,

It's all just a blur.

I know I must try,

to accept the lure.

 

Change is scary,

a dangerous thing.

But lots of things merry,

I know it can bring.

A great poem which I can relate to quite easily here. Love the way you presented it and there's a lot more positive ring to it than the negative. The rhyme scheme pretty neat except for the on in the last worse. it seems forced. scary - merry The rest of it was great ^^ Loved the read Thank you for sharing ^^

Change is definitely scary and a blur, so I agree %100 percent. It's a mixture of sad and happy; it's amazing how people change in a few years, it seems such a short time but in reality in a human's span of time it's quite a while. LIKED YAS
