A wound still healingA Poem by WolfThe sounds of war long since past, yet we hear the cannon fire still. 46,000 casualties many sons and fathers, Many forgotton heros.
brother against brother, fathers against sons. a deadly dance across the field and in the woods. Many a day i sit back and think about those men, How they suffered how they died.
Ghosts from the past still wonder those feilds, Looking for missing limbs or missing freinds. Remeber these men and their sacrifice for freedom, keep the memory of Gettysburg alive. © 2013 WolfAuthor's Note
