Unbreakable Heart

You can stand strong

Standing strong

and yet something feels wrong

You don't shed a tear

because you have no fear

They try to tear you down

and yet you never frown

They strike at your soul

but they never left a hole

You are better then the rest

and you know you are far from the best

But here you wont let them start

You are the Unbreakable heart

I'll have to admit this is very powerful. I can also easily relate to the feelings you try to convey. For a first poem this is really good. This made me think of the song Unbreakable Heart by Three Days Grace (https://youtu.be/C9aGz1UId7Q), and not only because of the title. The meaning of the song and the poem are the same, both about not letting people get to you and staying strong.

You know, i might try writing some poetry myself... Have been thinking about it lately, but you inspired me to actually try it.
