Riddle

Lost in darkness

Light gives me form

I look spooky

Funny and sad

Most of the time

I only look mad

 

I'm the thing you see

In dark alleys at night

Formed by the streetlights

On dark lonely nights

Did you guess I'm a shadow

Of the one you love most

The shadow you see

Is you, my dear host
