Heard a loud bang...u're so anti - climatic. One moment the poem is flowing beautifully and the next you'll come up with a line that will break the spell you cst on the reader. Like a bucket of cold water. Read the poem after you've written it and improve the flow.
There is such a tender, lilting beauty here that brings the heart to a place of peace.. that tranquility in dreams of children... Wonderfully flowing enchantment...
The imagination of a child is really amazing and it would not surprise me if this was not a dream at all.
It is a very cute poem written from a child's innocent, playful and beautiful point of view.
I also love how the color pink is revolved around this poem. First, her name is Pinky, second - 'she chose pink for its lips' and third, the whole poem is painted in pink! Very wisely done.
A beautiful write.
Ohhhh this is so sweet and gentle, happy and innocent. Small children have the most wonderful immagination and create such wonderful dreams. I had a doll called Alice with a rosebud mouth and fair hair, my father used to call her silent Emma cos .. well, I was a bit of a chatterbox even then!
Love this poem, it conjurs up such a magical time in a wee girl's life
