sun kissed visions

sun kissed visions

A Poem by Jesse N. Wall

While breathing
bits of sentences
in and out and all
night long...

You killed my slumber dead you
  slapped me
  with your sweet
   haiku.

     from clouds of color
sun kissed visions fell through sky
     to be swallowed hot

This is so deep and so inviting. I felt like I was in a Twilight Saga scene. Wow!

What you read was alive! The last three lines are an excellent drop in the mind.

Welcome. ^_^ This is excellent. I love that you've managed to compact so much imagery in so short a piece. And I see that you enjoy using the font as well as the words to convey a tone. Well done.

Welcome to the group, from time to time I read a work that moves me to respond in my own poetic kind...please excuse my muse...
While reading,
pieces of a picture,
nightmare silently screaming,
a ray of hope,
burning truth within...LonelySoul

Cool- I love how you built this to the haiku. The title is very suitable and helps the mind immerse into the poem from the off. Nice one, spence

Very interesting. Each and every word seems to have it's own power, and combined, makes for one heck of a strong poem! In itself, the style is very unique, so I look forward to seeing what else you'll write in the future! Great work!
