Silver tears that fall

Silver tears that fall

A Poem by ShappireRose

Silver tears that fall

In these empty halls

The screams echo deep and far

None can heal the wounds

Long gone is the past

Yet the fears have not yet

Faded into darkness

This simple need to yield

Cannot simply go away

The promise unspoken and sweet

Are that which are needed

To ensure that alone she shall never be

His anger with her

Fills her heart with dread

That one he will leave

And alone she shall be

He tells her he is not angry with her

Yet deep down inside she cannot believe

His simple words of fee

Noting breaks her deep rooted fears

That haunt her every dream

The demons that hunt her

Her memoires break her again

The scars upon her

Have not yet healed

Fear that he will hurt her more

Ring though her golden heart

Each day she lives

She fakes a smile

Pretends to be happy

While deep down she is dying

Who can see her broken smile?

He sees her tears and only holds her than

In the darkness of the endless night

With none to hold

None to comfort

She dares to cry these

Silver tears that fall
