GraceA Story by SheActsLikeSummerWhite metal obstructs my view of the flower's bright, silky petals. They say gently in the wind, the breeze's song accompanying their dance. Willowy trees look down upon me, their branches shielding me from the sun light. Occasionally a leaf falls, spiralling through the air in a striking red dress. Grace. I walk slowly,my feet pressing down the grass, dulling their blades. I reach out, briars' leaves try to escape their barriers, caress my skin. But I am not too careless to let them. Emerging from the shade I am glared at by the sun. To it I am only a person. No one special. Just another poisoned mind, roots feeding nonsense to my brain, my soul.
