Stangers In The Night (Acrostic - Word)

Strangers meet by chance in stolen glances

in the softness of the sun splashing colors

the colorful hues blending together vibrantly

night skies darken, silvery stars and the moon

   And as they're melting falling in love, as

   Silhouettes by a backdrop of sunset dreams

 

So soft are the gentle breezes flowing smooth

Softly they sway to the music in their hearts

They are so lost in each other as they

Sway softy in tiny footsteps in sand they play

 

Under swaying palms in a romantic paradise

The peaceful sounds of waves crashing nearby

Moonlight glowing while stars sparkle bright

Glowing softly in arms gentle breezes flowing

   In this night of love filled with sweet romance

   As strangers in the night lovingly they sway!

Dear SheWolfNLust, I absolutely adore this. I can see the deepest of romantics in you, just in this poem alone. I actually felt completely carried away as I read it; lulled; charmed; warm; secure. I have written a poem of this type where the letters / words at the start of each stanza give their own message. Mine is a little more difficult to decipher as some of the messages are in code. When it gets on here, you may find 'Just for one day'. There is so much to like and get lost in, in your poem. There is something of the nineteenth century in it as there is in your profile picture. It is a sensual piece. I have often been told we have five of them, though in my opinion there are more. However in the meantime they are - sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. You cover the first three in this piece and I feel you need not cover the other two in this. I keep on reminding myself that I have a nose and a tongue when I write but mostly I forget. Just an idea for your next piece and for mine. Anyway in parting, I'm impressed, Best wishes, James
