Fears

Havent wrote in ages and right now im going through some changes in life, but I really think this poem hits the nail on the head!

I, like an abused animal to your touch
Know not whether to growl or purr
Unsure how to act with an owner so rare
Kindness with every caress
Undeserved of the beast
Afraid to be used
Scared to get hurt
