I Thought

I thought I knew it all

Till you came along

I thought I had

My head on straight

Until you knocked me sideways

I thought I was so smart

I thought I had a plan

I thought so much

That chances have passed me by

And now I've come to realize

That thoughts don't mean a thing

And now I can finally see

That all I know is

I love you

And everything else is just thought.
