All they wanted was
To live by their own rules
And follow the path
Of love and peace.
But as the world around them
Changed,
So did they.
And the ensuing war
Tore them apart.

Truth told. This one makes me sad though. I am no hippie girl, but I still dream of peace and love, all the time. I am determined to make it truth, reality and not just words. Thank you for this poem. (:
