Never to be

This is a poem to a beautiful man I will never have, he owns my heart.

He said I was stupid,
You said I am great, you see me as a breeze
very little content and my love as a tease
I wouldn't dare change the way you see me couldn't take away the beauty of mystery
He told me I would never find a love of his kind,
But I met you
Passionate and wonderful driven and all
 already in love with some one I can not recall
I hope she tells you that you are a star
beautiful and shining light from afar
I see you as a glimmer of hope inside my heart
I saw him as you and made love so untrue plastered your face to his
he could do no wrong he was you in my mind I played it through
you never completely left my mind I always saw you gorgeous and fine
I wait for the calls that go to her
I die for the words she hears you say and I wouldn't lie if it meant you would stay.

It's heart wrenching to find the perfect someone, yet you can't have them. I can so relate to this since I am in love with one of my best guy friends who is simply wonderful for me. He knows just how I feel, yet he doesn't feel the same. Though, after telling him, it has only made our friendship stronger and more powerful.

It is a hard thing to take but I admire your courage I fell in love with this man 2 years ago he was a childhood friend of my brothers and I have know him a while but I really felt it two years ago but I have never told him thats how I feel. I am trying to just start a new but that feeling will always be there.
