EpilogueA Chapter by Milady_Alice_Clare“BRIT FOUND GUILTY OF DOUBLE MURDER Felch also convicted of kidnapping UK tourist and assault Rome, Italy - British national George Felch, 42, has been found guilty of the murders of Italian citizens Carlos D’Angelo and Vittorio Rinaldi in an expected verdict delivered yesterday by a court in Palermo. During the trial, it was revealed that Felch had killed Carlos D’Angelo because he had become a liability to Felch’s drug operation. Vittorio Rinaldi was murdered after asking too many questions about Felch’s illicit activities on the water and hinting he knew too much. Much of this information came from the testimony of Sergio Fellini, a key witness eager to provide relevant details in an effort to avoid prison. Fellini mysteriously disappeared just a week after the trial concluded. DNA and fingerprints found on both victims played a crucial role in securing the guilty verdict. Felch, a former business consultant from London, was also convicted of the kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment of British tourist Jenny Stewart, who disappeared for twenty four hours while holidaying on the island of Sicily in July last year. Prosecutors described Felch as a “calculating and remorseless individual” who orchestrated the killings to cover up a string of illegal activities, including fraud and illicit trafficking of narcotic substances. The court also found Felch guilty of multiple counts of lesioni personali (serious bodily harm) connected to assaults after the murders. The high-profile case attracted considerable media attention, especially due to the controversial relationship between Felch and the local development firm Ferimedit Corp. Publicity surrounding this connection resulted in planning permission being staunchly denied for Ferimedit Corp’s proposed new hotel complex. Ms Stewart, who courageously testified during the trial, was praised by authorities. “Without her detailed account, we may never have uncovered the full extent of Mr Felch’s crimes,” said lead prosecutor Marco Rossetti. Felch, who maintained his innocence throughout, is now facing life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Additional hearings are scheduled next month to address remaining fraud and drug trafficking charges. A sentencing date is expected to be announced shortly.”
