BittersweetA Poem by ShhhhSmall, short, contradicting love poem
Anguish
Pain Suffering It consumes my weak, vulnerable conscious mind You're nothing to me, I hate you, but why can't I leave you behind? Your idea of a meticulous and yet meretricious relationship was a blunder But what was it that kept me under? You perturb me, infuriate me, provoke me Yet sometimes it is your beautiful, magnetic smile all that I see Some relationships were never meant to be But love is complex, it can't be guided through philosophy I'm not sure if this is a good bye or not But after all the many moons, I have come to realize that this relationship is not the one i sought
