she’d like a spot

the butter spot next to nothing

because then there should be no resentment

no fault of any party

maybe there will be murmuring anyway

it won't matter with her witnessing

and trembling...she is prone to protecting

she won’t be present when the shoot’em down fleet

starts rolling in…

she’s a motivator …a lover throwing roses at no charge

running to petals glad to be intercepting

not the entity stinging for lack of honey

tryna find pitiful soul to stick it to

 

she's the chaser of elated breezes

with no explanation

I needed to read this on a few time, and each time it changed a little. I find a woman who is sure in her own ability to provide herself with happiness. Yet she is nervous that if another person should come in the way of her happiness it could be ruined. Worse yet another person may show here even greater happiness, and then leave. Leaving her searching for a happiness that is unattainable alone, and in that light "better off left alone"
