A putrid alliance

decayed and rotted

horrifying vistas

monstrous fights

traumatized parentage

victimized lineage

satirized offspring

damaged

deprived

betrothed for convenience

scorched souls piercing outlook

darkened

 disillusioned

two parents

contrite

clasp tiny hands

cradle young shoulders

wipe away tears

denying their plight

while

explaining

clarifying

rationalizing

justifying

simplifying

the art

of divorce
