Weighted blankets

Weighted blankets

A Poem by Shownashappening

It's said that
we are tallest at first rising
What will we have
baring down on us today?
If shrinking under the weight
of burden is inevitable.. uncompromising
What would you have constricting you,
if you were having your say?

About
I'm an early middle aged neophyte in many things.. always loved reading and writing for fun (the latter being of fluctuating consistency). Basically I'm wanting to write more, whether it be vignett.. more..
