I'm not old by any means, but that doesn't stop any aspirations I project onto my future self.

Maybe one day; I'll be the kind of Old
That takes my houseplants for walks
Singing the route to them like cozmetizing a corpse
For my living-open-casket and wake
A death of yesterday and birth of today.
Look at me the same way that I live, sideways.

Harumpf, I say, you dare to snatch the name of my child and press it into singing odes and whatnot round the final bed that meets the new day with only half of you? What looks can one give honestly that see but half of life? Hmm, amusing, at least.

Well, you obviously did not get my (admittedly lame) effort at humor, and I'll not try to explain as it would take too long and might make me look bad, so I'll just say, "sorry, mate" and move on. Honestly, though, I liked it.
