Autumn sun

Autumn sun

A Poem by William Kremer

An inspecting light now hangs
Expecting woods reject themselves
A foliar free-falling festival fashions
Itself, an expressive parade of wind-arching lanterns.

This light will soon end
And senesce to hang in the air
Drawing sequences for none to dance to
Inspecting light now inwards
Will inspect the black-dogs' dance instead.

There is a careful play on words here with most similar sounds weaving a tapestry into the piece. Very nicely done

I'm an early middle aged neophyte in many things.. always loved reading and writing for fun (the latter being of fluctuating consistency). Basically I'm wanting to write more, whether it be vignett.. more..
