Wondering words on words

Wondering words on words

A Poem by William Kremer
"

Just thinking out loud I suppose, meaning changes for us over time at every possible scale. I've never utilised mantras before but feel they could illustrate so much ourselves to us over time.

"
Should I get to know a word,
Line, paragraph and chapter
By asking it to argue with itself?
Making it a mantra in a divining conversation
God, devil, fire and ice in its own constellations?
What if I read a book so so so often;
Will there be a point where the pages unfold me?
And" I am of place and place is as me
So could these words stretching themselves beyond
Horizons and mirages and speak to here about now-
Yesterday and the countless-tomorrows of us-all?

Every word is a product of exploding stars in far-off void
Maybe if I explode my attentions into as-infinite-as-possible
My dying-sun self can read kin in ink spilled by celestial corpses still animate.

What a mantra and what thoughts quietly lie within its arms, ready to be tested, ready to be understood!

'Every word is a product of exploding stars in far-off void
Maybe if I explode my attentions into as-infinite-as-possible
My dying-sun self can read kin in ink spilled by celestial corpses still animate.'

Clever thoughts that suggest (to me) that if one can hope, one can dream and thus, might well achieve higher than ever considered. Maybe. Perhaps.

This poem created a sense of searching and curiosity for me, and I especially liked the cosmic imagery in the final lines. It felt vivid, original and really brought it all together.

A most surreal existential exploration of self. Nicely written here in self questions

I'm an early middle aged neophyte in many things.. always loved reading and writing for fun (the latter being of fluctuating consistency). Basically I'm wanting to write more, whether it be vignett.. more..
