wishing for growth

This is a poem about where I am emotionaly and mentally.

I wish I could write like you

I wish I could write a poem  like you

I wish I knew how to write a novel

I don’t know how to do these things

Because I was never taught these things

I was never taught how love myself

I am beautiful I am gorgeous

But think twice before saying that to my personality

I was never taught how to write poetry so excuse me if this is terrible

Excuse me if I don’t know how to hold a conversation on a phone  

These are the things I never taught myself because I thought it was a skill everybody was born with and I wasn't , I didn’t realize these are things you have to teach yourself

I am sorry if this poem has no point , Most of my poems don’t

I wish I knew how to write poetry

Than maybe I can pay my tuition with prize money

I am lost so excuse me if I have to spend 50k a year to find myself

I don’t finish much and like everything else this will not be finished.
