Without a Breath for More

Without a Breath for More

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Throbbing temples

veins extended

raw eardrums

the band plays on

beyond

any comprehension that

we can grasp

our wills have come undone

not a word was spoken

yet a million things were said

when your eyes met mine

and out the door you lead

me to your abode

where we succumbed to

passion let

without a breath

for more.

passion let

without a breath

for more. - did you mean "left" here or "let"

I love the piece though. I have felt those moments. Some quite recently. Well described here. Hats off to you. :)
