Longing for Your EmbraceA Poem by Siddartha Beth PierceIn the morning breeze I find myself longing for your return so I take up the quill place my will upon the pages of journals and sketchbooks.
Remembering your kind face the way you smiled at me beguiled taunting me ever so sweetly.
I place the pastels upon the pages in effervescent hues of you so neatly.
These will have to do the notes I scrawl the likenesses I draw as you are unlikely to return soon enough to pleasure me with your charms and graces once more.
It seems I can not wait but must toil here over your being while you are afar longing for your embrace.
