my head hurts
can't think straight
my mind unwinds on a VHS tape, wait
I suppose my bloody nose is a symptom of these headaches

somebody separate
the ladders from the snakes
hate, four letters scribbled in cursive on a paper plate
I eat words, choke on verbs, and regurgitate
