All But Forgotten

Part 2 of my poem 'In Reality'.

You entered my fantasies,

Yet again.

Smiling, laughing;

Together with me.

 

The previous times;

Those happy moments we spent

Together in my dreams,

Had been all but forgotten.

 

But this brings back everything;

Everything I’d learned to ignore

Over the course of time.

 

But this happened in my dreams;

Not reality.

 

So now I’m left wondering,

If I really feel that way,

Or if it’s all just a cruel trick

I’ve been playing on myself.

I completely relate to the topic, well not completely, my story runs deeper, maybe I'll write a poem about it. Almost like the meter, the flow is slightly rocky though.
