Alive Again

At last,

I hear my breath again,

Notice how the wind blows,

And how people are.

 

Finally, my mind

Awakens,

And victory is mine,

And I’m free to think again.

 

After all this time,

My mind awakens

From and endless slumber,

And no longer do I act

Merely on impulse.

 

At last,

I feel

Alive again.
