Is It Better There?

I would like to know.

Is it because of all the money? Possessions?

Is it because of all the hope?

Can someone explain, why all the hype?

I don’t understand

All the drama, the hurt, the pain;

All the fighting and the violence;

All the disrespect and ignorance;

Is it really worth it.

Why do we do everything in our power to resist

going THERE.

Why not?

I bet they don’t have

WAR

VIOLENCE

HATRED

PAIN

They don’t care, but we do.

What happens in that transition from HERE to THERE,

that suddenly changes us.

I don’t understand, can someone explain.

I guess not, since you’re here, like me.

Stuck.

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see;

Wait for my transition.
