This is also something I wrote for Domestic Violence Awareness.

A tear drops for every person who has had to fight for their lives and lost.
For all those who are in a shelter;
running because of their situation.
A puddle forms for every family
who has had a loved one go through this and come out a different person;
changed in one way or another.
For all families who have lost a loved one to the violence of abuse.
