Blank Walls

Blank Walls

A Poem by Tay

Glaring at me; barren.
Nothing to cover up the vast emptiness.
Nothing to distract me from my thoughts.
Just blank space,
staring out at me.
Challenging me.
I don't want to face it.
Stuck in the confines of nothingness.
Its so overwhelming.
Slowly closing in on me.
Pushing
Pushing
Pushing in on me,
making the cracks bigger and bigger
with every subtle movement.
Soon the weight of it all will be too much.
I will be crushed.

You rocked this poem...I felt your emotions in such a short stanza which is strong and which is great, great rhythm, great presentation, and...I know those walls, they can be confining....but its what you make of it that's count. You can draw on those blank walls, if you let your mind to do it. ;)

My poetry can be of a dark nature sometimes, and that's because I mainly write it when I'm upset or hurt. more..
