FearA Poem by Tay
My insecurities run deeper than 10 oceans,
grow larger than 50 skyscrapers. I couldn't tell you why, but I'm trying and so are you. I want to believe you, when you tell me not to think the thoughts coursing through my brain everyday. It hurts when I know I might be wrong, but I can't believe my thoughts are anything but right. You deserve so much better; better than my doubt my anger my anything. Grand wishes can only compare to what I hope for. I want to be free, but for fears of worthlessness, I stay where I belong. Why can't you see, you deserve better. Better than me. © 2011 Tay |
