Dreamy

Dreamy

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Gentle hair tangled in bed sheets,

messy with the morning light.

It pains to wake, a breeze to pass

as the windowpane sits high,

Gleaming eyes, supple wrists,

time to stand by.

If I ever wanted more time,

I'd never understand why.

Ah... one of my fav. poetry. Yeah, even every infatuated or "Dreamy" soul .. has its own visions to look through the shades of love-life.. love's what that brings rejoice to hearts'. So yeah, the heart's always longed to have it more & more, no matter what, but the ruthless time... never get to be stopped not even for a while so I guess, you here put a very great and magnificently poetic questions: "If I ever wanted more time, I'd never understand why". Excellent.. what a beautiful imagery you painted on words! Enjoyed reading your work!
