Chirping For the Day to End

Chirping For the Day to End

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Find the ring

of the night, it gleams

with eyes and her eyes

her eyes

they crawl on water like

sunshine,

washing away with

the wind in her hair

but she doesn't care, no

no.

she won't care.

the heavy heat will fall

when the mountains dull and all

I can say

is just love her yesterday,

please just love her

from yesterday,

for her daddy cries

'My baby girl, you're sleeping

full of lullabies

empty, lullabies,

where no one can protect you,

no one can keep you,

yeah it's true"

and while time stops for you and not for me,

could you find it in your heart

to love her?

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
