CremationA Poem by SilverThe title is actually fairly misleading, but at the end of it all, its the only title that fit the poem. This is one of the only poems that reflect upon my life, but, however, I'm not depressed. :)Ask me how I feel, My hopes, thoughts and dreams, And I shrivel, knowing the truth inside. But all I say is 'I'm fine.' I have more masks Than an African American butler In the early 1900's. I wear each one, Hoping, Dreaming, That one of them is real. But the feel, The grain, Chafes, Stings, Biting, Telling me, This is not real. I'd go back the way I was, But I don't know what I used to be. Crazy? Yes. Stupid? Yes. I could fix myself, No? But I'm so horribly shattered, That I don't know when I broke.
