Winter-Tide Moment

Looking out at the frosty winter scene outside my window...

It looks still and calm outside,

Like a snow globe;

Perfect, fluffy flakes

Lazily drifting to the blanketed earth.

A picturesque winter-white world

Rests just outside my window,

Beckoning me;

Begging to be enjoyed with quiet spirit.

Baroque music plays in the background;

Adagio in C Major, Rv 109

Seeming perfect for the winter-tide scene.

Snow falling in the front of my home about one month ago.

As a Canadian, I have had my fair share of snow. This poem is beautiful, I especially enjoyed
