Emergence

Emergence

A Poem by Silver Higdon

Dark, wet, cold, loss of words.
A stirring swarm of emotions.
Nothing left but an empty shell.
Once alive now standing still and frozen in time like a statue.
Worn by age, decrepit, cracking, and crumbling piece by piece into the unknown depths of the ocean.
Leaving nothing but a blazing red hot mass of pure raw emotions, expanding to the point of implosion one explosion at a time creating a mega eruption.
Hot, life, clarity blasting, cutting through the depths of the ocean kissing the clouds.
Life emerging once again from nothing.
Where a frozen lifeless statue stood now stands a strengthened life with peace of mind and clarity of words.
