Live Each DayA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's poem
Live Each Day
Live each day with what it brings Amidst life's trials an angel sings The truth is we are all the same We'll win or lose, whatever the game No point in worrying what it means The nature of these shifting scenes Continue through each stormy sea And find, at last, what's meant to be Yes, each of us has joy in store There's plenty there, we all need more Cast off the doubts and let's be brave Then never could you be a slave The future's calling all souls on No matter the places we've all gone Learn from the past but look ahead But never be too easily led For many the places we could go And infinite things we all could know Yet still, I'm bound again to say At times, enough to live each day (c) Simon J.
