Nowhere To RunA Poem by Simon J HallidayToday's Poem
Nowhere To Run
Life has not this day begun The past can haunt, nowhere to run Then if a dark time's haunting you Pray now for mercy, all you can do Don't worry, for worry won't help at all In fact, could bring a greater fall Think positive, work to make things right Within, without, a timeless fight And when you find that nothing's changed When all your life had rearranged The circle of life, the web's been spun Things come back 'round, and justice won So move on when you're ready to learn But not too fast, for fingers burn Don't risk your life of freedom, son For in the end, nowhere to run (c) Simon J.
