Life Won't Wait

Take these words, as from a mate
The simple fact is: life won't wait
Each day will come and go in turn
Some wasted it whilst others learn

Read on and work with what you must
Don't be a slave to greed or lust
More precious days await the mind
Which grows beyond the lost and blind

Another clue from life's rich field
With changing views, then life may yield
If stuck then nothing moves at all
The horse still waiting in its stall

And countless moves are played each day
The game of life won't go away
So take your place and plan your fate
For anyone, this life won't wait
