Today's Poem

The Other Side

What waits on the other side?
Is life a dream once we have died?
The world has things we like to do
But one day this will all be through

Be not afraid, we're told to hear
For nothing's ever helped by fear
Think to the future, life goes on
Beyond this world once we are gone

Respecting life and helping all
A doctor must fulfill his call
And yet the day will come at last
When drugs and knives are in the past

For souls are free and have to move
A body has no case to prove
It lives and dies with all the rest
But souls live on and stand the test

Look deeper then around this land
And one day all will understand
We're here to help, enjoy the ride
But keep in mind the other side
