Fear Me

Fear Me

A Poem by Chipissy
"

I stumbled across a picture some time ago and someone had written in cursive "fear me, fear me not." Much like the little game I'm sure we all know where we pick of the petals and recite "He koves me, he love me not," this little quote

"

Fear me, fear me not.

I tear these depraved petals and breathe in the dark.

Smoking toxins, rings of poison.

Exhale insanity,

Live.

Tonight I'll be your angel of darkness.

Dripping with sin, I'll take you in.

Escape within these tangled webs

Nestled within my veins.

I'm the portrait of good society

Twisted with tainted lullabies,

Stained by the poison of vanity,

Sleeping the strong arms of lies.

Scream again! Bring the pain.

Cry tonight, share the pleasure.

Carve those words into a golden bullet,

And stay another night in my asylum.

Rotting promises dance behind my broken lips

Dried blood stains my fingertips.

Spiders crawl behind my eyelids.

Imprisoned, am I, by my own device.

Burn it down then rise from the ashes

Breathe in the darkness

Exhale insanity,

Live.

I was never sure what to write when they asked for a biography. Should I shrug it off and say, "I'm me." Then leave it at that? Maybe I should go into great detail with all the trials of my life that.. more..
