PROLOGUEA Chapter by Bri"I don't understand how you could let this happen! I gave you one job." The room was silent. The master had been hiding here with his goblin munchkins for months. "Sir, if I may point out, you did tell us to hide the crown, but you did not specify that we were supposed to guard it…" One goblin said, trying to speak for everyone in the room, because clearly everyone was too scared to talk. "If you keep this up, one of you shall be executed!" The master hissed. The bunker, the master, and the goblins were hiding in was quite big. And it did indeed have an execution room for these situations. "And if any of you do the same thing this foolish one did, I guarantee I will find a new army of munchkins in no time." The goblins all backed away. That one goblin who spoke up was going to regret it. The master had always kept his word. "Now, you. What's-your-name, come with me." The little goblin gulped. And soon it was going to die. "Wait!!" Everyone stopped. This loud voice came out of nowhere. The master turned around. "WHO GOES THERE?" The master shouted in caution. The door creaked. "Hello, master. It is an honor." The mystery man bowed. "If I may ask, what were you planning on doing with that goblin?" The mystery man said as he pointed to the little green goblin, standing next to the master. The master chuckled. "Well, you see, this little goblin did not obey my orders. So, because of that, I am taking him to my designated execution room, where he will die a painful and well-deserved death." The master waited for the mystery man to walk away, but instead, he opened his mouth again. "Well, if you don't mind, master, I would like to take these goblins to a place where they will benefit you in your path to world domination. Assuming you plan on being king, that is." The master stood there silently for a minute, but then he spoke again. "Fine. If that is what you wish. They have become useless to me anyway." The mystery man clapped his hands together. "Great! It's settled, then. They will be in good hands, master." The mystery man rounded up every last goblin and slowly led them out the door. What the master didn't know was that the mystery man was not going to bring them back to the master so he could become king. The man was going to actually take them into his own hands, where he would build up an even stronger army, and use everything in his power to protect WillowFae.
