Phantoms

Phantoms

A Poem by sinNsincerity

I removed the

masquerade mask that

mimicked a mystical

kiss while everyone

around you and I

said that we shouldn’t.

Should we?

Let’s show them…

Let’s show us!

We are each our own phantoms & it's such a bold move for two lovers to decide to finally expose their relationship to the world, even if the world may not accept them. There was a dreamy kind of edge to this & it felt so raw. Great job, truly inspiring! I enjoyed the read.

Sometimes we were masks
For the adventure of secrecy
To learn of a true lover
To really be in that magical place

Love it
