On Love's AbsurdityA Poem by SergeiThe nonsense of love.if you bothered to check beneath mirror-smooth smile and salacious smirk beneath mind boggled with murky bog of love and philosophy and madness and c**k beneath “I’m fine”s “Amazing”s “Yes’s; lie lips tired of phantom kisses fears of lonesome deserts distant oases dark skies rumbling thunder silent storms self-inflicted mental wounds manifest in scars on skin sentences end before they begin a life unlived in living dreams that plague a rational mind “no, no, that cannot be” yet contemplation is me eyes dried mind tired bleeding heart time apart the singular object of meaning in this absurd existence supernova: too bright too hot too brilliant too real too painful too absurd too ridiculous too sad too unreal too real too vicious too much; unfair to ask of such a small body to deal with the enormity of love and existence stupid and immoral to love and expect love what do cold atoms care for love? © 2017 SergeiFeatured Review
