Tears

The tears keep falling down

Will someone ever wipe them for me?

I am lost in this world

Knowing nothing where it's taking me

I feel miserable and sad

Someone please tell me why?

Where have I lost my laughter?

From where have they come; these sighs

These unkown lands haunt me

I search for what I know

But I end up getting lost

And these tears start to flow

They keep flowing for a while

But now they dry

Coz' I've gotten used to it

The pain which made me cry

I still cry these tears

Due to helplessness and defeat

And keep wondering all the time

If anyone will wipe them for me...

loneliness is something that we all share from time to time. and i can empathize with feeling that you are lost...i have had to get used to being alone for the first time in many years. with the help from my best friend and my girls, i have been about to cope with the pain and everything else. you will get there and you will find someone to wipe the tears away....

Yes, this writing puts the raw emotions out there but in the end, you do give the reader enough to know you still "KNOW>"

i love this. the raw emotion of wanting someone to be there for the tears not just the luaghter. "Where have I lost my laughter?" so true when you haven't luaghed in a while and all you can seem to do is cry...this is a really good poem. thank you for sharing.
