The special basket [2]A Story by EnigmaThis is _______!!!!"TIM!", I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Uh-huh?", he made that stupid grunt which always made me want to punch his nose. But I always stopped my as it was too cute a nose. "Let go! You're ruining Sam.", I told him. Oh! By the way, Sam is the name of my new teddy bear. I collect stuffed animals as they're always there for a hug and would listen to everything I say. Though Tim doesn't really like this fact that I'm still 'playing with such things at the age of 17 yet he simply ignores it at times which, of course, goes fine with me. Now the situation was like this. Tim held me and 'Sam' in a tight hug and though I love hugging him, yet, I couldn't stand the wrinkles on the outfit of Sam. I shoved him so hard that Sam fell on the floor and we both fell on the bed, on top of each other. He was still laughing and I couldn't stop smiling. My mouth was hurting as I was trying to express frown and smile at the same time. "Oh! You're dead, man!", I shouted and before realizing it, we both starting hitting each other with pillows. AH! That was a good fight. I WON! ...... I read an re-read my diary entry and by the time I finished reading it the second time, I was wearing a mile-long smile. 'That was a great fight after all', I told myself. "Liz! LIZ! OH MY GOSH! MIZ!! I mean, LIZ", Tim shouted from somewhere. He had come to say 'hi' and hasn't said the word since the last forty-five minutes. I ignored the giggles which followed his shouts and rushed down the stairs. "I'm falling! Help me!!", he shouted once again and beads of sweat formed on my head. I practically flew down the flight of stairs and entered the kitched which was on the right. "Help me! I'm falling...", he said in such a way that for once I thought that he was singing. With a stupid grin he came up to me, doing an awkward dance, slid his hands on my shoulders and bent down as if we were doing salsa and he was the girl. "I'm falling... ....in love.", he said. "Argh!", I let out a big grunt and let go of him. HE hit the floor with a thud but that didn't ease up his laughter. He looked as if he'd never stop laughing. "Oh! Mom! Dad!", I suddenly shouted. "WHERE!!", and he got up as if he just had a electric shot up his butt. Now it was my turn to laugh. "Uh-huh?", he said and leaped on me. That started an very exciting but rather tiring chase around the house where he was trying to catch me but I always proved faster and more swift than him. Finally, he fell on the sofa and said, "All right! You win!". Saying this, he let out a sigh and closed his eyes. I had been up the first floor and could easily hear him sigh. I wondered if something was wrong. So I went down and sneaked up behind him. But before I knew it, he pounced on me once again and this time he caught me. "Got cha! You crazy cat!", he smiled. "Meow!", I chuckled. The rest of the afternoon went away in the movies we watched together and a bit of cooking. Tim nearly burned the house to ashes while trying to switch on the stove. At night, when he was about to go away, he took me up to the terrace and sang me one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I secretly recorded it behind his back and when he was gone, played it again and again till the batteries of my cell phone burned out. This song kept me awake the whole night. I was thinking about writing a song myself, or maybe a poem. Whatever it will be, it must be good enough to stand infront of that awesome and intriguing song which didn't let me sleep. Oh! The title of the song was 'Sweet Sleep'. © 2011 EnigmaAuthor's Note
